Go Veggies makes all of their food from scratch in their kitchen with the help of volunteers.  When it comes to purchasing ingredients, “I first look to local farmers and local businesses for produce and products,” says Genga.  “Many people suffer from health issues that can be fixed or improved with eating better.”

Russ believes that every day should start with a great cup of coffee.  He roasts his coffee in small batches to bring out the best flavor… and what flavors he has – there are dozens to choose from!  And New Day Coffee believes in giving back to the community – from every pound of coffee they sell, a portion of their profits are donated to a local charity  :)

T-Meadows Farm

T-Meadows Farm is located in Lockport and they raise Heritage Breed swine…  “Our pigs are healthy and happy.  We do not supplement their diets with antibiotics.  Raising them in this low intensive manner provides a low stress environment where disease is not an issue.  The pork from our pigs is delicious!  One of our customers remarked that it tastes like pork used to taste, before factory farms took over.”

T-Meadow also raise chickens.  Their products are served at fine restaurants in the area and you can serve it in your own home!

The Kernel

The Kernel Home Grown Popcorn

All of the popcorn from the Kernel is grown themselves on their family farm in Wilson, NY.  They have almost a dozen different flavors of popcorn, along with popcorn that is still on the cob… how cool is that?  The Kernel  has something for everyone  :)

Librock’s Farm

If you want your beef to be raised naturally with no growth hormones or antibiotics, then Librock’s is for you.  Their cattle are raised on pasture (grass-fed) and finished off with grain to ensure that the beef has the right amount of marbling.

They make over two dozen beef cuts and products and they take orders for wholes, halves and split halves – if there is something special you are looking for – just ask!

His Pierogi are made fresh 5 days a week. They are rolled, stuffed, crimped, boiled, cooled, packaged and immediately frozen. What’s more, all of this is done manually. There is no automated machinery used. And their Pierogi are big! They are approximately 5” across. How’s that for big?

With eight different varieties available, you have lots of choices – try a different kind every week!

On a 114-acre farm located in Lockport, third generation farmer Frank and his wife Linda take great pride in growing the food they sell. Besides the fruit from their cherry, apple, pear and plum orchards, they also have their own honey.  And what surprises are in store from all the grapes they grow? If you are looking for the bestest and tastiest fresh baked goods, Barb is the person to see! Raised in Buffalo, she has a Polish and Croatian background. Barb learned to bake from her grandfather and most of her recipes have been in her family for generations. Barb’s mission is to encourage people to teach their children to bake and keep family traditions alive :) Barb is at our market every other week and she does take orders! If you are at the market on the week she isn’t there you can call her at 536-0567 to make sure she brings what you want the following week… how cool is that?

Trippensee Gardens
New to our market this year is Trippensee Gardens. Located in Middleport, they have 2 acres of cut flowers including carnations, asters, baby’s breath, snap dragons and other annuals. They also have ornamental dahlias and lilies. Besides their victorian-style hanging baskets, they have herbs (cinnamon basil and regular, sage) as well as basic vegetables including green onions, zuchinni, etc.

Flowers brighten up your home all year ’round and Trippensee has the perfect ones for you!

Chateau Buffalo

We have the Niagara Wine Trail in our own backyard, but Chateau Buffalo is Buffalo’s only boutique winery. At the market, check out their unique assortment of handcrafted wines and craft cider… Along with wine, Chateau Buffalo produces Dancing Buffalo Cider & Perru, craft hard ciders made with locally grown apples & pears.

With the variety they offer, there will certainly be something you’ll like – to go along with the meal you’ll make with the fresh goods you got at the market, doesn’t a glass of Chateau Buffalo wine sound perfect?

Lily Acre Farms

New to our market this year is Lily Acre Farms. Lily Acres specializes in maple products – and they are the tastiest you’ve ever had! Among their products, they have maple cotton candy, maple candy, maple cream and of course maple syrup :)

All of their products are natural/organic and you can really taste the difference – stop by their booth and taste a sample for yourself… you’ve never had maple this good!
